The I’m Still Here Foundation (ISHF) is excited to announce the launch of our 2026 Innovation Grant Program, supporting bold, creative, non-pharmacologic approaches that help people living with dementia truly thrive. Rooted in our “Hope in Action” mission, the ISHF Innovation Grants support inspiring ideas that promote dignity, foster community connection, and encourage authentic engagement through arts, culture, music, intergenerational experiences, physical activity, and more. This is unique
opportunity for innovators to bring their vision to life—and to make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of people living with cognitive challenges.
About the Innovation Grant Program
The Innovation Grant Program provides seed funding of up to $12,000 to individuals and
organizations developing innovative engagement programs for people living with dementia. Funded projects demonstrate how meaningful engagement can foster connection, creativity, dignity, and well-being for people living with cognitive challenges – especially initiatives that challenge traditional assumptions and open new possibilities for engagement and inclusion. We are interested in partnering with passionate innovators who are testing new ideas, building programs, or reimagining how we support individuals and families affected by dementia. The goal isn’t just funding, but collaboration: helping good ideas grow stronger and sharing what’s learned so others can benefit.
2026 Innovation Grant Timeline
January 15, 2026 – Grant submissions open
