John Reinhart Joins I’m Still Here Foundation Board, Bringing Vision and Personal Connection to Dementia Innovation

Lexington, MA—August 6, 2026—The I’m Still Here Foundation (ISHF) recently elected John Reinhart to its Board of Directors. A high-profile healthcare executive, serial entrepreneur, and visionary in AgeTech, Reinhart brings more than 35 years of experience at the intersection of healthcare services, technology, and the longevity economy.

For him, the appointment is deeply personal. His mother, who just turned 87 and lives with dementia while “striving to live her best life,” has shaped his understanding of the importance of dignity, engagement, and purpose in care. Reinhart, along with his sisters, remains committed to enhancing both the quality of his mother's life and the care she receives.

Reinhart will make his first public appearance as a board member this October at the Grantmakers in Aging (GIA) Conference in Denver. He will join ISHF Founder Dr. John Zeisel and Executive Director Sharon Johnson for a presentation titled “The Virtuous Cycle: How Research, Philanthropy, and Inclusion Are Redefining Dementia Innovation.” The session will explore how philanthropy can serve as a bridge between laboratory findings and lived experience, offering a roadmap for scaling impactful, inclusive dementia care solutions.
