The I’m Still Here® Foundation sponsors, fosters and encourages non-pharmacological treatment and community engagement based on I’m Still Here (ISH) principles for Persons Living With Dementia. Based on its decades-long success creating innovative arts and cultural programs for persons living with dementia, the Foundation provides access and support for the implementation of its unique Community Programs and has created the Innovation Grants Fund to inspire new and effective non-pharmacological programs and activities.
The I’m Still Here principles emphasize engagement because of proven positive outcomes on dementia behaviors and on family and community support. The Foundation works to disseminate existing programs and activities not just in senior residences but also in the home and community. Programs include Innovation Grants for assistance in developing programs that offer an innovative, healthy and positive philosophy of dementia care and the Caulfield Community Program grants which provide seed funding to implement on of the Foundation’s four community programs.
